We are so pleased with your interest in our school and we look forward to sharing our unique educational vision with you.  Shalhevet School is the only Modern Orthodox, Co-Educational Pre-School through 12th grade Jewish Day School in Los Angeles.  Our school uses justice, fairness and social concerns as the criteria by which rules and decisions are made.  From our earliest grades, our students use high level thinking techniques to discuss current events, school happenings and hypothetical issues carefully and thoughtfully integrated with Torah values.

At Shalhevet, we strive to give our students the gifts of knowledge, spirituality, morals and ethical values.  Our school experiences guide our students toward leadership roles as they grow into responsible adults who are ethical and observant Jews in their community and in society at large.  We accomplish this by offering engaging, challenging and thought-provoking classes in Judaic and General studies, as well as a vast array of extra-curricular activities from which our student body can enjoy and develop their own interests.
