Financial Aid Policies & Procedures
2009-2010

Since its inception, Shalhevet School has been committed to providing financial aid to families. In order for us to allocate our limited financial aid resources fairly, the Board of Directors has instituted the following policies:

• Admission or re-enrollment to Shalhevet School will be independent of financial need.

• All families, both new and returning, that wish to be considered for financial aid must comply with the financial aid procedures in a timely fashion and provide all required documentation.

• This year, Shalhevet is using TADS, an outside service to assist us in determining equitable financial aid. The recommendations made by this service will be used for guidance only. Financial aid decisions will be made by the Financial Aid Committee.

• Applications to TADS may be made online or by mail. If you wish to apply online, please go to www.tads.com and follow the directions.

• All financial obligations for current or past years need to be current in order for a financial aid application to be reviewed.

• If you receive a financial aid offer and determine that you are unable to enroll your child(ren) due to the insufficiency of the grant, Shalhevet School will refund your $1,000 deposit if you contact us in writing to this effect within 15 days of the receipt of the financial aid determination.
