Israel Education and Advocacy
The Israel Education program at Shalhevet aims to educate and engage our students about the history, culture, politics, people, and narratives of Israel. In addition, we provide and encourage opportunities for Israel Advocacy outside the classroom for students passionate about Israel to become strong pro-Israel advocates during high school and beyond.
Firehawks4Israel, our Israel Advocacy club, leads the school community in this area, inviting outside speakers, hosting visitors from the IDF, and bringing Israeli culture into the school in the form of special programming.
Our students attend all AIPAC conferences and local parlor meetings to learn about AIPAC’s legislative agenda. They hone their lobbying skills and prepare for Policy Conference every year with an in-depth and rigorous AIPAC preparation course.
