College & Israel Guidance

The College Guidance Department offers an individualized, holistic process for helping our students think about their college plans. Seniors think deeply about the next best steps to build on what they have learned and developed here.

Our four-year college counseling program addresses course selection, testing, co-curricular involvement, and eventually college research and applications. We want students to make thoughtful decisions and choose colleges that are a fit for them academically, socially, financially, and religiously.

It is our goal to help students become life-long Torah learners, thoughtful leaders in the Jewish community, and advocates for the State of Israel. For that to be true, we strongly believe that Torah learning, deep engagement in Jewish life, and interaction with the Land need to extend beyond the high school years. Additionally, students need the time and space to help them inculcate the Jewish values they learn into their lives before going off into the world. Towards that end, we highly encourage every student to consider spending a gap year in Israel. It is in these seminary, yeshiva, or other gap year programs where students can focus on their own Zionism, Torah learning, and personal and religious growth.
